About the Opportunity
The University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to join our team. As a faculty member, you will be part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team working in the Division of Vascular Interventional Radiology/Image Guided Therapy, Department of Diagnostic Imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across all modalities of pediatric interventional (body) imaging, including Vascular and Gastrointestinal accesses, Biopsies, Body Angiography/Angioplasty/Embolization, Hepato-Biliary intervention, Bone ablations, Steroid Injections, and Nephrostomies.
- Collaborate with a team of pediatric interventional radiologists, surgeons, and other disciplines as part of the Centre of Image Guided Care.
- Contribute to the development of clinical and research programs in pediatric interventional radiology.
- Participate in academic and research activities, including teaching and mentoring students and residents.
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board certification in diagnostic radiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent.
- Fellowship and clinical experience in body Pediatric Interventional Radiology and Vascular Anomalies.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and academic appointment at the University of Toronto at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
- Strong research background in Pediatric Interventional Radiology and training in research methodology at the level of a Master's degree/Ph.D level.
- Proficiency in English.
What We Offer
- Faculty appointment at the University of Toronto (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary range of approximately $350,000 to $500,000.
- Additional incentive for extended and on-call hours of work related to complex interventional procedures.
