Job Description:

An experienced Cloud Application Solution Engineer is required to lead the evaluation of cloud migration strategies, design and implement cloud solutions, and manage their implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud computing, software architecture, and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability and successful deployments.
  • Partner with senior executives, line-of-business leaders, and developers to discuss technical architecture and provide guidance on cloud solutions.
  • Apply governance methodologies to minimize business and technical risks and ensure quality assurance.
  • Provide thought leadership and share ideas, insights, and technical input with team members.
  • Formulate strategies to meet business and technology priorities and advise on gaps in capacity planning.
  • Develop and maintain technical and business roadmaps and vision.
  • Foster technical acumen and maintain knowledge of market trends, opportunities, and insights.
  • Advise stakeholders on secure, scalable, and reliable Azure solutions.
  • Design and recommend application architectures, compute, network, and migration solutions.
Qualifications:
  • 6-10+ years of experience in technology solutions, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud application design, software architecture, and practices, cloud application development solutions, and DevOps and CI/CD technologies.
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
  • Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, emerging computing trends, and their impact on partner practice building opportunities.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Certification in cloud, mobile, web application development, cloud-native application architecture, modern software development techniques, and container orchestration systems preferred.
