Job Title: Painter - Interior and Exterior Surface Specialist

Description:

At Downtown Painting Ltd, we're seeking a skilled Painter - Interior and Exterior Surface Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our painting crew, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning and sanding
- Repair cracks and holes in surfaces
- Mix paint to desired color and texture
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
- Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings

Requirements:

- 2 years of experience in painting, with a focus on interior and exterior surfaces
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
- Physical stamina to work at heights and lift heavy materials

Work Environment:

- Work as part of a team to complete painting projects
- Work at heights and in confined spaces
- Lift heavy materials and tools

Education:

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

- Attention to detail
- Physically demanding

Weight Handling:

- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
