Job Title: Hairdressing Salon Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hairdressing Salon Supervisor to join our team at Eden Hair Extension and Braiding. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our salon, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule events, programs, and activities to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist clients with special needs, providing a personalized and caring service.
  • Be the point of contact for emergency situations, demonstrating a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve our goals.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items, upholding our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, providing valuable insights into our salon's performance.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that we have everything we need to deliver exceptional service.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule the activities of our staff, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing a positive and supportive working environment.

Experience:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position with 35 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
