Job Title: Multilingual Interpreter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Multilingual Interpreter to join our team at MAPLE LINGUISTIC AND TECHNICAL SERVICES. As a Multilingual Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services in English or French, ensuring accurate and precise communication between individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Correct translated work using reference materials, such as dictionaries and computer software, to ensure translation accuracy.
• Revise translated material to ensure that translations retain the meaning, feeling, and content of the original material.
• Interpret oral communication from one language to another aloud or using electronic equipment.
• Provide interpretation services in court.
• Interpret for persons speaking an Aboriginal or foreign language.
• Interpret language for individuals and small groups.
• Maintain the content, context, and style of the original material.
• Perform quality control and proofreading.
• Provide consultative services to translators, interpreters, and technical writers.
• Translate a variety of written material.

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Will train.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid.
