Role Overview
In the capacity of a Lead Applications Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing our operational capabilities and improving our platform's integration with essential third-party systems, including Retool, Make, Intercom, HubSpot, and our proprietary solutions. Your specialized knowledge will be crucial in propelling our revenue growth and operational efficiency, ensuring our scaled services function at optimal levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and implement intelligent solutions that streamline workflows, boost productivity, and deliver data-driven insights.
- Utilize low-code/no-code platforms and generative AI technologies to design user-friendly interfaces, automate manual tasks, and integrate various systems to achieve unprecedented efficiency.
- Directly influence the revenue growth of our core programs through system enhancements and strategic optimizations.
What You Will Accomplish
- Act as a subject matter expert for third-party systems, guiding their strategic integration and application within our ecosystem.
- Identify and automate: Pinpoint opportunities for automation within current processes, employing generative AI and low-code/no-code platforms to craft and execute intelligent solutions that minimize manual effort and enhance accuracy.
- Create custom scripts and workflows: Develop scripts in Python to automate repetitive tasks, integrate APIs, and expand the functionality of low-code/no-code tools.
- Test and refine: Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions, gather user feedback, and continuously enhance implementations based on practical usage.
- Collaborate and communicate: Engage closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure the successful adoption of new tools and automations.
- Document and disseminate knowledge: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of developed solutions, workflows, and best practices to promote knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance.
- Integrate systems and data: Utilize tools like Make and Retool to establish robust integrations between diverse platforms and systems, facilitating seamless data flow and exchange.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Applications Engineer or in a comparable role.
- Proficient in Python and SQL, with proven experience in scripting to automate business processes.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and data formats (JSON/XML).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience with low-code platforms such as Retool, Make, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated capability to manage complex integrations and enhance operational processes.
Additional Information
- This is a full-time, salaried position.
- The role allows for remote work, with a preference for candidates located in Canada.
- Monthly stipends for phone and internet services are provided.
- Flexible time off and paid holidays are included.
- Necessary equipment will be supplied.
Salary range: 80,000-110,000 CAD, dependent on experience and location.
