About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 13771563 Canada Inc. as a Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that all inventory is properly managed and that supplies are always available when needed.

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff and customers.

Manage Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are properly scheduled and that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Language

English

Work Hours

35 hours per week
