Job Summary

Calian Advanced Technologies is seeking a skilled Printing Specialist to support our Defense sector client in the National Capital Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and reviewing technical data packages, operating large format printers, and ensuring the accuracy of configuration management data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and review technical data packages, including identifying and addressing deficiencies
  • Operate large format printers and plotters, including loading and changing papers, waste containers, print heads, and ink
  • Collect, review, and update configuration management data for input into the environmental configuration management information system
  • Modify, validate, and compile technical data package lists, including technical publications, specifications, and performance test sheets
  • Review documents, drawings, and associated data for conformance to standards
Requirements
  • Minimum one year experience in the past five years reconfiguring, resizing, and reformatting files in Adobe Photoshop software
  • Minimum one year experience in the past five years loading/changing papers, waste containers, print heads, and ink on large format printers
  • Minimum one year experience in the past five years creating spreadsheets and documents, text formatting, editing, calendar management, scheduling, and e-mails using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word or equivalent
  • Must be able to provide own Canadian Standard Association (CSA) approved safety footwear
  • Must be eligible for Enhanced Reliability (Level I) Security Clearance with the Government of Canada
Additional Requirements
  • May be required to travel to other buildings within the National Capital Region; free transportation and bus tickets will be provided
