Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
  • Room Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Customer Service: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Balance cash, complete balance sheets and cash reports, and perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Word processing software and internet.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment

Our hotel is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have excellent communication skills.
