Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Animation Art Director to oversee the creation of engaging animations for our clients. If you have a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to produce high-quality animations that meet our clients' communications needs. You will work closely with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations and establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
You will also be responsible for determining the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in developing the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 3-4 people to ensure the successful completion of animation projects.
- Work closely with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations and establish the overall look and feel of communications materials.
- Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
- Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives.
- Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements for animation projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.3-4 years of experience in animation or a related field.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours.Proficiency in Autodesk Maya or other animation software.What We Offer
