Engineering Project Lead

Bombardier is a leading aerospace company that designs, builds, and maintains world-class aircraft. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Lead to join our team.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering projects, including planning, coordination, and execution. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget;
- Leading technical change planning to ensure completeness and harmonization with stakeholders;
- Ensuring adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards;
- Coordinating with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure project scope, schedule, and budget compliance;
- Establishing engineering priorities between projects and activities, analyzing schedules, and communicating priorities;
- Identifying and reporting risks, leading risk mitigation planning and execution;
- Participating in internal safety and security processes to assess, contain, and correct potential product deficiencies;
- Preparing and presenting budget requirements and resource allocation;
- Preparing visibility reports for various levels of the organization;
- Coordinating Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) cross-functional reviews;
- Coordinating multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary;
- Releasing formal engineering documents.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- An Engineering degree or relevant diploma with 5-8 years of experience in project management or aerospace;
- Familiarity with Program/Project Management processes and principles;
- Sound aircraft technical and/or manufacturing experience;
- Prior experience in structural and/or systems development is an asset;
- A professional attitude, superior communication skills, and excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Natural leadership and proactive attitude with ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Self-motivation, autonomy, enthusiasm, and results-oriented approach;
- Technical curiosity and effective problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions;
- Good computing skills, proficient in MS Office, and experience with MS Excel and MS Project is an asset.
