About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at ULS Maintenance & Landscaping Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing and directing construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and managing and supervising landscape construction work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective grounds maintenance strategies to ensure the upkeep of outdoor spaces.
  • Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Lead a team of landscape construction workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain work-related data, including project timelines, budgets, and personnel information.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and understand blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate implementation of landscape construction projects.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support landscape construction projects.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Identify and resolve work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work primarily outdoors, with occasional indoor work in an office setting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
