About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Supervisor to join our team at PL Constructions & Excavations. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our carpentry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpentry teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of carpenters and other construction personnel to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met and that all parties are informed of project progress.
  • Resource Management: Manage the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and healthy manner, and that all personnel are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The successful candidate will be required to work at construction sites, which may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in other challenging environments.
