About the Opportunity

The Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences at Dalhousie University invites applications for a full-time Instructor position in support of first and second year teaching at the FAFU International College in Fuzhou, China. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses and coordinate all teaching assistant and marker/demonstrator positions related to their courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate courses in horticulture and plant science
  • Coordinate teaching assistant and marker/demonstrator positions
  • Participate in department and faculty activities
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in agriculture, plant science, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level
  • Ability to travel to and spend approximately 12 weeks per term in China
