Job Description

Excel Freight Solutions is seeking a skilled Truck Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries. You will also be responsible for maintaining work records and logs, monitoring personnel workloads and locations, and organizing warehouse and work areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations
  • Maintain vehicle operator work records
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
