Job Title: Hairstylist

RUPY'S HAIR AND SKIN STUDIO is seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, and coloring hair.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide hair cutting and styling services to clients, including cutting, trimming, and coloring hair.
  • Shampoo and condition hair, and provide scalp massages to clients.
  • Apply hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, to enhance the appearance of hair.
  • Use various hair styling techniques, including blow drying, iron waving, and roller setting, to create a variety of hairstyles.
  • Work with clients to understand their hair needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations for hair care and styling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Work collaboratively with other salon professionals to ensure that clients receive exceptional service and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hair care industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy equipment.
Work Environment:

RUPY'S HAIR AND SKIN STUDIO is a non-smoking environment. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and clients.

Work Setting:

This is a permanent position in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.

Hours:

32 to 40 hours per week.
