Job Role

Friendly Fires is seeking a skilled Gas Technician Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our workforce, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark reference points for the installation of gas lines and equipment
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
  • Advise clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems
  • Supervise other workers and ensure projects are completed efficiently
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
Certifications and Licenses

We require our Gas Technician Specialist to hold a Gas Fitter Trade Certification and a Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 3 or C. Additionally, you must be bondable and hold a valid driver's license.

Work Environment

As a Gas Technician Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, or kneel when necessary.
