Job Title: Physiotherapist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, planning physiotherapy programs, and supervising technical and support staff.
Work Setting: Our Physiotherapist will work in a hospital or home for the aged setting, providing sports therapy, orthopedics, and acute care therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to promote patient recovery and independence
- Supervise technical and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Confer with other health professionals to coordinate patient care
- Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients to promote physical rehabilitation
Requirements:
- College/CEGEP degree in Physiotherapy
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
