About the Role

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Sell lubrication and safety inspection services to customers
  • Conduct multi-point inspections on vehicles and present findings to service advisors
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using computerized diagnostics and other tools
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components, including fuel systems, brakes, and electrical systems

Requirements

  • 2nd year automotive apprentice or equivalent experience
  • Traditional apprenticeship or motive power graduate welcome
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic tools
  • Shop or dealership experience preferred
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for long periods
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and safe driving history
