Medical Device Processing Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Casual Medical Device Reprocessing Technician | Perioperative Aide at Queen Victoria Hospital to join our team in Revelstoke, BC.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a series of detailed technical duties related to preparation of the Operating Room (OR) theaters and the position and preparation of the surgical patients and related supplies/equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a series of detailed technical duties related to preparation of the Operating Room (OR) theaters and the position and preparation of the surgical patients and related supplies/equipment.
- Restock supplies in the theaters and storage areas and transport patients, specimens, equipment and supplies within the perioperative areas.
- Support the surgical team regarding patient observations and interactions, and in the use, care and location of perioperative equipment and supplies.

Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Successful completion of Sterile Processing Course
- One year's recent related experience is an asset
