Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain our in-house ERP system, Financial Management System (FMS).
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate business strategies into functional solutions.
  • Integrate our in-house Project Management System, Gate Three, and other external systems with our FMS system.
  • Mentor and support team members as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for users, clients, and team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and develop expertise to meet future business requirements.
  • Assist with DevOps and support problem-solving/quality assurance teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in software development.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, databases, and object-relational mapping.
  • Knowledge and experience with existing and new technologies.
  • Experience using AS400/IBM i, RPGLE, CLLE, SQL, XML, and Json.
  • Experience using IBM Rational Developer for IBM i.
  • Experience building integrations with SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, databases, and object-relational mapping (ORM) framework.
  • Experience analyzing problems and finding solutions.
  • Experience using Java, Python, JavaScript is an asset.
  • Experience using CA 2E (formerly Synon 2E) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Information Builders iWay Enterprise Service Bus is an asset.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent work experience.
