About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technology and Operations Executive to join our team at BCLOUD TECHNOLOGY INC. as an Executive Vice President of Technology and Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the technology and operations teams, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Event Management: Manage events and ensure their successful execution.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Consulting firm or similar industry.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $1,500,001 - $4,000,000.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Area of Work Experience: Management, Product development.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, large workload.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, judgement, organized.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Immediate Settlement Needs: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.
  • Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
