We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to contribute to the success of JobCart Inc. As a Licensed Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicles and equipment. Key areas of focus include working with a range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy-duty equipment. A strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality service are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment
  • Inspect and test vehicles to identify potential issues or future maintenance needs
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers

Requirements:

  • Valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification (310S or 310T)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Licensed Mechanic
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working with a variety of vehicles and equipment
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
