Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate self-regulation and social-emotional care practices in the classroom
  • Utilize project-based learning to support curriculum outcomes and promote student engagement
  • Develop and implement Student Learning Plans, Behaviour Plans, Safety Plans, and Individual Education Plans
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to establish cooperative and authentic connections
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong classroom management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners
  • Strong understanding of inclusive education and restorative practices
