About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Kiewit Nuclear Solutions as a Material Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of critical materials and equipment on the DNNP Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement effective materials management strategies to support project delivery.
  • To manage the day-to-day operations of the site logistics team, including warehousing, laydown yards, staffing, and equipment.
  • To collaborate with the Procurement Director and Quality Director to prepare and execute the project Materials Management Plan.
  • To ensure the accurate tracking and reporting of materials and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless material procurement and delivery.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in materials management and supply chain logistics.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in EPC Materials Management, logistics, and nuclear required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team.
  • Excellent planning, decision-making, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • A technical (engineering or engineering technology) education is an asset.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel required.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and SAP applications is an asset.
  • Ability to identify, handle, and store construction materials and consumables.
  • Familiarity with the Bruce Power and/or OPG catalogue ID requirements is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of nuclear codes & standards as they relate to procurement activities.
