As a Process Lead at Groupe Leclerc, you will play a key role in promoting and supporting a continuous improvement mindset and methods application, using lean methodologies. You will work closely with the Business Unit Leader and Maintenance Lead as a focused team to support the production line and ensure that processes are well documented to drive improvement and sustainability.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans to achieve them, working closely with the maintenance team and business unit leader.
- Manage the implementation of new methods and processes, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to production.
- Collaborate with the maintenance lead and business unit leader to maintain and improve line efficiencies, meeting all line objectives.
- Organize and participate in prevention activities, raising workers' awareness of value-added production concepts.
- Analyze waste causes and suggest improvements to optimize processes.
- Plan and organize various improvement programs, including H&S, TPM, 6S, Six Sigma, and Ishikawa diagram.
- Participate in T1 and T2 meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Document processes and write work instructions and specifications, defining standard processes and tools.
- Help define daily plans, take the lead on priority actions, and support the team in implementing and continuously improving their Daily Management System (DMS) elements.
- Share best practices with other Process Leads and support the Production Manager in fulfilling production operations mandates to meet overall business objectives.
- Recommend and expedite system solutions, troubleshooting, and modifications to existing equipment to improve and optimize line operations.
- Take initiative to focus on continuous improvement for personal development, staying updated on industry standards.
- Promote and be responsible for applying sound occupational health and safety management, ensuring compliance with Leclerc safety standards.
- Provide resources and technological expertise within the plant.
- Perform any other duties requested by your supervisor.
- Completed education in Operations Management or Engineering field, or Bachelor's degree or technologist diploma plus relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience with different Lean approaches/tools, Lean certification considered an asset.
- Implemented or participated in the implementation of change management.
- Good understanding of recognized process management, continuous improvement methods, and problem-solving tools.
- Strong people management skills, capable of mentoring and coaching employees for success.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Results-oriented, able to motivate a team to perform at high levels.
- Experience in troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Ability to make good decisions with an innovative approach.
- Ability to train and transfer knowledge effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with SAP considered an asset.
