We are seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Pawan Investment Group LTD. in an exciting role that combines customer service with cash handling and sales expertise.

Job Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, scanning items, tabulating total payments, receiving payment, and performing daily/shift reconciliations. Your primary focus will be on delivering a positive shopping experience while maintaining accurate records and meeting sales targets.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range estimated between $45,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience and location.

You will have the opportunity to work approximately 35 to 40 hours per week, with regular working hours and no overtime required. Our workplace is committed to fostering a supportive environment where employees can grow and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, processing transactions, handling cash, credit card payments, and gift cards.
  • Scan items correctly, ensuring accurate pricing and quantity calculations.
  • Tabulate total payments, calculate change, and reconcile daily/shift totals with sales data.
  • Receive payment from customers, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position; however, relevant experience is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
