Thales is seeking a highly skilled AJISS Program Engineer to join our team in Victoria, Canada. As a key member of our AJISS Engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting the management of defects for the Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPVs) and Joint Support Ships (JSS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical direction on corrective maintenance and defect resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into equipment or system malfunctions, including failure analysis and solution development.
  • Develop and approve technical job instructions and work scopes for defect investigation and resolution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve agreed-upon outcomes.
  • Support the Engineering Team from Ottawa for Engineering Change processes.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or naval architecture.
  • Minimum 5 years of maritime experience in ship repair, ship building, or ship operational experience.
  • P.Eng in British Columbia.
  • Language: English (Essential).
