As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train construction workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations, minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Material Management: Requisition and manage materials and supplies, ensuring that they are available when needed and that costs are minimized.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals, to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
