Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave Terrace.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Enter client information into databases
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks
  • Maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
  • Process claims for health insurance and workers' compensation
  • Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Knowledge of Kroll Software
  • Criminal record check and confidential security clearance
