Your primary responsibilities will include assembling and wiring new machinery according to detailed engineering schematics, preparing wiring, checking component power, and performing pre-work risk assessments to mitigate potential safety risks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Assembly and Wiring: Assemble and wire new machinery according to detailed engineering schematics, verifying conformance of parts to stock lists or designs/blueprints.
  • - Pre-Assembly Activities: Prepare wiring, check component power, and perform pre-work risk assessments to ensure all potential safety risks are mitigated prior to work start.
  • - Design Interpretation: Read and interpret designs/blueprints, sketches, schematics, and written instructions to assemble electrical harnesses and run electrical through equipment.

In addition, you will make recommendations for design changes to improve manufacturability and serviceability for future products or prototypes, and inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functionality and conformance to customer specifications.
