About the Role

Ubisoft Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled Data Developer to join our UDO (Ubisoft Data Office) group in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transforming large volumes of data into organized and relevant information to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with analysts to evaluate key metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Design and develop streaming pipelines to aggregate player telemetry data into analytical models.
  • Integrate datasets into dashboards and analytics platforms to support business decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and contribute to the development of best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience in data engineering or related fields with big data technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, and Spark.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java or Scala.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative and innovative spirit.
  • Motivation to make complex information accessible and understandable to all stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, Kubernetes, big data cloud solutions (e.g. AWS), Flink, or Kafka Streams.
