Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Quality Systems Leadership Specialist to join our Mobility Global Business Area in Canada. We partner with clients worldwide to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving.

As a Quality Systems Leadership Specialist, you will:

  • Provide Quality Systems leadership using the ISO Standard as the basis for process development and optimization, procedure development, data collection and reporting, and Quality Systems training.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Policy, Processes, Procedures, and related documents.
  • Participate in Client pre-bid, bid, or contract planning and preparation.
  • Plan and execute required audit activities.
  • Perform and document Internal Quality Audits of assigned offices, projects, and job sites.
  • Facilitate all internal and external Quality audits and brief management with the results.
  • Effectively document, follow-up, and close corrective actions.
  • Handle qualification audits of suppliers of purchased items and services.
  • Assure audited activities meet Arcadis quality program and Client quality requirements.
  • Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements.
  • Promote safety awareness and participate in safety field audits and assessments.
  • Review and approve documents prepared by internal or external organizations.
  • Collaborate with management for interface on Quality activities with internal or external organizations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 12 years of related work experience combined Engineering and Quality, including 5 years experience in Quality management.
  • A proven track record in managing quality within complex projects.
  • Expertise in ISO Standards for Quality Systems.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive audits with a keen eye for detail.
  • Quality Systems Expertise: Champion the development and optimization of Quality Systems using ISO Standards.
  • Policy Development: Craft and maintain comprehensive project Quality Policies, Processes, Procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Mastery: Plan and execute detailed audits across various project phases to ensure compliance with Arcadis standards and contract requirements.
  • P.Eng.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lead Auditor certification (ISO or equal).
  • Membership in a nationally-recognized Quality organization. Professional Engineer registration.
  • Other related certifications may include but are not limited to: Design Quality experience; Systems Quality experience; Possesses working knowledge of more than one area of industry such as infrastructure, government, aviation, process, or transportation.
