  • Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Millworker Assistant to join our team at Hawa Jones Millwork Inc.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the maintenance and repair of pulp and paper machines and equipment.
    • Operate various woodworking machines and equipment.
    • Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines.
    • Load chips, sulphur, and processing materials.
    • Sort, pile, and transport wood products.
    • Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing.
    • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Work Environment: Our work site environment is noisy and dusty.
  • Work Setting: The position is located in a sawmill.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and repetitive tasks.
  • Language: The primary language of communication is English.
  • Work Schedule: The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
