Job SummaryWe seek a highly qualified individual with research and teaching expertise in water resources engineering to join our faculty. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research productivity, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain an independent and internationally recognized research program in water resources engineering
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in civil engineering, including water resources engineering
- Supervise master's and doctoral students in water resources engineering
- Provide service to the School, University, and community through committee work, professional development, and outreach activities
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in a field related to civil engineering and either be registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in teaching and research in water resources engineering, a strong publication record, and a demonstrated ability to secure external funding are preferred qualifications.
