Job Summary

This role involves assisting teachers in supporting students with learning needs in a high school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have special needs and be able to provide one-on-one support to students in the classroom. The Learning Center Aide will work closely with the teacher to develop and implement strategies to support students' academic and social growth.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting teachers in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students in the classroom, including accompanying them to PE/Weights classes.
  • Assisting with the implementation of instruction, accommodations, and modifications for students with special needs.

You should also be able to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
