Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic individual to provide top-notch care and assistance to our clients in their home environment. This is a permanent position requiring approximately 30-40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and provide bedside care to ensure the well-being of our clients.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, personal hygiene, and exercise to promote independence and dignity.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks to meet the dietary needs of our clients.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for groceries and supplies to ensure our clients have access to the essentials.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate to ensure emergency response preparedness.
  • First Aid Certificate to address minor injuries and illnesses.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate to demonstrate expertise in caregiving.
  • Criminal record check and basic security clearance to guarantee a safe working environment.
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking employer's home, promoting a healthy and comfortable atmosphere.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Overtime may be required, necessitating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Walking, standing, and bending involved, ensuring a physically active role.
  • Up to 100 lbs weight handling, requiring strength and endurance.
