Faculty of Social Work Tenure-Track Positions

The University of Regina invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in the Faculty of Social Work. Located in Regina and Saskatoon, our faculty is committed to preparing students for critical generalist social work practice with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach at the BSW and MSW levels
  • Conduct research in social work practice, education, or policy
  • Supervise graduate students
  • Contribute to the administrative structure of the Faculty of Social Work
Requirements

We seek candidates with a PhD in Social Work or a related area, a record of research and teaching in social work practice, education, or policy, and a commitment to Indigenization, sustainability, and social justice.

Applicants are encouraged to clearly indicate their location preference (Regina or Saskatoon) in their cover letter.

Applications are also welcome from individuals with experience in diverse areas of social work practice, including direct social work practice, clinical social work, social policy, human rights, health, gender, aging, settlement, and immigration.
