Bookkeeper - Financial Record Keeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2308213 Alberta Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Tax Return Preparation: Prepare tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
