We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at the Nanaimo Family Life Association. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's homes, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients to live in.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Make beds and change sheets, and launder clothing and household linens.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
