About the Role

The Senior Bodily Injury Examiner is a key member of our claims team, responsible for investigating, quantifying, and settling complex property and casualty claims. This role requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze complex claims to determine liability and quantum
  • Develop and implement effective claims strategies to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Communicate with insured members, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve claims
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines to ensure timely resolution of claims
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • CIP designation and adjuster's license
  • 7-10 years of experience in casualty claims handling, including litigation file management
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including medical rehabilitation concepts and case law
  • Excellent investigation and negotiation skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
