About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to join our team at Graphic Packaging International, Inc. as a key member of our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, improve, and design electrical, mechanical, and control equipment in the factory;
  • Order required equipment parts, track with suppliers of materials and/or services in their field;
  • Implement a tracking system for inventory and available tools in the electrical workshop, as well as its update;
  • Intervene during equipment shutdowns and diagnose problems to increase operational efficiency;
  • Plan, in conjunction with production, preventive maintenance of equipment;
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement projects, equipment, and GPI's health and safety culture;
  • Perform automation programming and distributed control systems (DCS);
  • Other related tasks associated with the position.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering and/or D.E.C. in industrial electronics or equivalent and/or D.E.C. in instrumentation and control, combined with relevant work experience;
  • Electrician with Class C or in the process of obtaining it;
  • Knowledge of computer programming and automation;
  • General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics;
  • Initiative, versatility, flexibility, and positive attitude, teamwork with production and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Good physical condition.
