Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer I/II to join our team at TEEMA. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in the design and development of new construction projects.


About the Role:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers on mechanical systems design.
  • Develop and review design documents for naval vessels to ensure customer, classification society, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical problems related to mechanical systems.
  • Develop and manage bills of materials associated with specific systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Systems or Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 0-2 years for Engineer I; 3 to 5 years for Engineer II post-secondary experience working in mechanical systems or mechanical engineering disciplines is desired.
  • P.Eng. designation is preferred; however, EIT is accepted.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
