We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Heidelberg Materials in Vancouver, BC. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair mechanical systems and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  • Perform regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of plant equipment and systems.
  • Operate various tools and equipment to fabricate and repair parts as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid interprovincial or Red Seal Millwright ticket.
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to use software applications related to maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy loads, sometimes exceeding 75 pounds.
