Langley, Canada Parsons Corporation Full time

Job Summary:

Parsons is seeking an experienced Environmental Professional to support technical and environmental activities in Western Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and a proven track record of working in fast-paced dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordination of various site monitoring, investigation, and remediation projects.
  • Plan projects, develop accurate scopes of work, cost estimates, project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Work with project teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and budget.
  • Perform data entry and QA/QC for soil, groundwater, and vapour data.
  • Prepare do-lists, health and safety plans, technical reports, memoranda, and other project documentation.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Required Skills:

  • 4-year degree in earth sciences, civil, environmental, chemical, geological engineering, or similar programs.
  • Prior experience in conducting site assessment, remediation, and preparing reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player in fast-paced dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Demonstrates the values of safety, teamwork, service, integrity, and accountability.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Maturity in interaction and ability to operate self-sufficiently in the office.
  • A valid driver's license.

  • Local candidates to the Langley area.
