Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional care to patients and residents, and contributing to the development and implementation of nutrition-related programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the nutritional status and risk of patients and residents, and develop and implement individualized nutritional care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on nutrition-related topics.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in research activities.
  • Develop and implement nutrition-related policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from a recognized university.
  • Dietetic internship from an accredited program.
  • Current registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
