At Mahran Wholesale Inc, we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for planning and adjusting routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Your expertise in using computer equipment, GPS, and other navigation devices will be essential in ensuring the efficient transportation of goods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and adjusting routes to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions
  • Using computer equipment, GPS, and other navigation devices to ensure safe and efficient transportation
  • Addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Loading and unloading goods with precision and care
  • Obtaining necessary permits and documents for international routes
  • Inspecting and maintaining the condition of vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency
  • Transporting and handling hazardous materials with caution

Requirements:

  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Bondable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
