About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Muys Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials Such as Concrete and Asphalt
  • Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs
  • Assist in Demolishing Buildings
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
  • Experience: 7 Months to Less Than 1 Year or Equivalent Experience
  • Physical Demands: Fast-Paced Environment, Physically Demanding, Tight Deadlines, Repetitive Tasks, Handling Heavy Loads
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Reciprocating Saws, Circular Saws, Air Compressors, Air Guns, Nail Guns, Drills
  • Construction Specialization: Residential
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal Record Check, Driving Record Check (Abstract)
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own Transportation, Valid Driver's Licence
