Job Overview

CS GROUP is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our aerospace projects to success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of our projects, fostering strong client relationships, and upholding the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong client relationships, providing exemplary service and acting as a bridge between clients and our organization.
  • Workload Definition: Clearly define project workloads, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring a structured approach to project management.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project P&L and cash flow, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality in project deliverables, continuously striving to exceed client expectations.
  • Reporting: Provide regular, comprehensive status updates and workload assessments to the executive team, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee procurement activities and necessary supplier relationships within the defined budgetary framework, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Team Performance and Development: Collaborate with the HR team to enhance team performance through coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Involvement in a structured PMO organisation
  • Experience in the aeronautics, defence and/or Embedded software industries
  • Knowledge of the V-shaped software development cycle and Agile software development methodologies
  • Exposure to standard DO-178B/C
  • Experience in managing a multidisciplinary team, and suppliers
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word and PPT)
  • Well organized and effective at time management
  • Able to positively influence colleagues and customers to achieve desired results
