About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional service and repair of HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and provide clear instructions to customers on proper care and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, offering solutions to meet their home comfort needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying new knowledge and skills to improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A valid Gas Technician II license.
  • A certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313d).
  • A valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
  • A Class G Driver's License.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HVAC service, with a strong understanding of water heaters and HVAC equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
